Sciath na Scol Football Champions 2023!!!

Huge congratulations to our boys’ team who defeated their neighbours and friends in Watergrasshill N.S. in the Sciath na Scol final. The boys were delighted to win, but were also sad to see their friends upset and commiserated with them at the final whistle. The future is bright for GAA in the parish if this final is anything to go by!

Thanks a million to the teachers, Ms. O’Connell and Mr. Murphy who trained the team both in and after school. Thanks to Glenville GAA for their continued support. Thanks to the organisers in Sciath na Scol, stewards, referees and lines people.

Thanks to all the parents who gave lifts and supported the boys at the matches and to all our supporters today the day of the final! The children in the school are truly people to be proud of.
