First Holy Communion was held in St. Joseph’s Church in Glenville on Saturday 14th May 2016. Congratulations and well done to second class on making their First Holy Communion. A special thank you to their teacher Ms. Audrey Murphy and the SNA Catherine Murphy and Ms. Ber O’ Callaghan who worked extremely hard in preparing the children for Holy Communion. We have to make a special mention to the choir who put on a great performance on the day under the guidance of Ms. Marion Forde and Mrs. Clodagh Conway and Ms. Sarah Clynch.
Thank you also to the Do This In Memory team who were a great help in the preparation for Holy Communion, especially Liz Counihan, Jennifer O’Mahony and Michelle Guichard.

On Saturday 10th May our second class made their Holy Communion. All the children had a busy few months preparing for this special Sacrament under the guidance of Ms. Conway. Thanks also to the parents involved in the Do This in Memory programme who helped to prepare the children.

As always, there was a fantastic choir on the day provided by the children from third to sixth class. A great amount of practice was done by these children with the help and expertise of Ms. Farrell and Ms. Forde.
